The Purpose of the Awards
The Institute of Physics in Ireland presents annual awards to students, postgraduates and teachers.
The Institute of Physics have many main stream awards (see link to main Institute site in right hand column) to recognise and reward outstanding achievements by physicists in their respective fields.
Those seeking Institute of Physics in Ireland endorsement for nominations for any IOP or other awards should contact the Honorary Secretary of the IOPI at least 4 months in advance of the closing date for submission of the nomination. This will allow the IOPI Committee time to consider the nomination.
